About Myrna

I am an artist who writes about, teaches, and creates textile art. My pieces are influenced by personal experience. Words, quotes, and concepts can inspire me as does the world around me.

Fabric is my medium, my way of expressing my inner self outward. Its never-ending boundaries are both comforting and exciting. I enjoy bright colors, smooth curves, dense threadwork, and visual energy. Each piece is a story expressed through line, color, and texture, a rich tapestry of ideas, an exploration of form and function.

My work is featured in private and corporate collections in Canada, the United States, Germany, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand. It is a thrill to pass along both my technical knowledge and the joy of creating in my online workshops at QuiltUniveristy.com where I teach technique and independent art classes, at WomenArtLife.com where I teach life and creativity coaching, and with individual life, business, and creativity coaching students worldwide.
