I love making things, particularly with textiles. It's how I breathe, nurture myself, destress. Along with the handbags and textile art in my shop, I also sew most of my clothing, knit, and crochet - personal art forms that are just for myself. I've explored multiple mediums and some have resonated more than others. I'm a huge fan of recycling and of maximizing the potential of scraps and leftovers. Signature necklaces are a key element of my style. That combination led to exploring wire wrapping, metal smithing, and polymer clay for making beads, buttons, and jewelry. Some of those pieces are in the shop as well. I really enjoy supporting and encouraging the creativity of others and sharing what I've learned over the years. I can't imagine a life without creativity.
